Archive Entry 003 — The Body Confirms the Piece
An object is not complete in isolation.
It becomes real near the body:
carried, turned, held, exposed to light.
Use is not an afterthought.
Use is the proof.
We treat the body as a sensor.
Not a mannequin.
Not a target.
A piece is designed to register small events:
entering a room,
crossing a threshold,
leaving with a trace.
This is also why we resist excess explanation.
The archive can record what can be written.
The rest must be lived.
